Wear Yourself Out

Righteous words. The whole parent-as-dork movement that has been perpetuated in Hollywood for years doesn't help any of us who are trying to be good parents. I sometimes think it's worse than sex and violence as far as long term impact is concerned. I think the last strong dad in a Hollywood movie was the Laurence Fishburne character in Boyz in the Hood, 1991. Aren't ad men fathers who want to see themselves portrayed as intelligent?
