OK, the ANA's long gone as we all know, but there's just one thing I need to get off my chest before I get on with my life:
When Al Gore was on stage and Liodice asked him about the ROI on a Current TV ad, Gore replied that the "I" on it is zero since it doesn't cost anything to make an ad. To which Liodice replied, "You've just delighted this audience."
That would be true if the audience were brain dead. Because as we all know, the big cost for a TV ad isn't the creation of said ad, it's the placement. That $2.6 million figure quoted for last year's Super Bowl, for instance, didn't refer to how much it cost to make the ad, but how much it cost to put the ad on Fox.
Am I the only one who noticed this? I feel like Mugatu in Zoolander. Am I taking crazy pills?
