How Microsoft Could Kill Google

The Reluctant Blogger points out that if MS installed an ad blocker into Windows, then those browsing with IE and Firefox would not see Google's text-based ads and that would be the end of Google's text ad business. The always-perceptive Ilya Vedrashko at MIT's Advertising Lab, however, notes that MS would incur not just the wrath of Google, but of all Google's advertisers if it chose this strategy. Still, not impossible.
